Baccarat Hotel

One of our favourite NYC accommodations. It’s not hard to see why this glittering gem attracts the socialites. However, entry-level rooms are perhaps slightly overpriced, and the food in the restaurant can be overrated. Fortunately, you have Michelin-starred establishments on your doorstep.

Stay at Baccarat Hotel

Unleash your inner jet setter amid the spells of this Midtown flagship. Let yourself be dazzled by the aura of Baccarat. Swanky in style with sumptuous interiors, prepare to have the delights of New York City scattered at your feet.Your arrival is nothing short of epic, as the doorman leads you through a gleaming light display. Once checked in, you will be escorted to your lavish quarters, where opulent fabrics beckon and white marble overflows. This extravagant ambience continues at the dramatic Grand Salon, where bartenders mix new potions and special spirits await.

Location

This centrally-placed property is on 53rd street, right opposite the MoMA. Popular attractions like Rockefeller Centre, Fifth Avenue and Times Square are all nestled nearby too.

Rooms

Sleek and blingy vibes dominate within all 114 stays. Dotted beyond are 17 custom chandeliers alongside 100 unique works of art. Views alternate between 53rd Street and the courtyard, though the latter may be preferred to avoid the sounds of busy Manhattan below.

Who is it for

f you have a taste for glitz and glamour, this base won’t disappoint. Baccarat is very adult-oriented, therefore families should definitely consider elsewhere.

Facilities & activities

La Mer spa and the pool are rather lovely, especially since most city hotels don’t offer the latter. Alongside the restaurant’s chic interior and afternoon tea, the 60ft bar is an obvious highlight. Beside fancy craft cocktails and French wines, they boast the largest champagne list in the country.
