Ephesus Tour

Few cities have as long or as gloried a history as Ephesus. Now lying in atmospheric ruins across rolling hillsides it is easy to see the importance this site once held. One of the true jewels of the ancient Mediterranean world. Exploring the ruins of the Library of Celsus, the Odeon theatre, bathhouses and aqueducts is a fascinating experience.

First founded in the Bronze Age, once home to the great Lydian King Croesus who rebuilt the Temple of Artemis, one of the original Seven Wonders of the World. Ephesus retained its glory throughout the Greek and Roman periods, even becoming one of the most important sites in early Christendom. St. Paul is said to have his ministry here for years and the Gospel of John is thought to be written on-site.

Located in present-day Selçuk, the ruins of the great city are around 2.5 hours drive from Bodrum (depending on the location of your hotel). It’s quite a ride but we have a range of luxury cars available, suitable for any requirement a guest should have. You will be collected from your hotel in the morning and returned again in the evening. A long but fulfilling day.
