Nine kilometres of fine golden stretch out in front of you as you set foot on Porto Santo, Madeira’s lesser known but equally as beautiful island. Arrival by ferry is good, but let’s face it arrival by private boat is better.
The day is yours to do with as you wish. Those sandy beaches beg to be sat on; your book isn’t going to read itself after all. Maybe a spot of golf. Or a swim. Perhaps a bike ride.
